The Fotopedia client is supported on Windows and Mac OS. We don't have plans to add Linux support for now.
Our resources are totally focused on the web application which works on all operating systems. We are constantly improving the website and it is a great tool today that can do most of what the client can do and even more.

There is a very large community of photographers using Linux, largely stemming from the powerful GIMP application. It would be extremely shortsighted to ignore these valuable contributors. With such frameworks such as GTK, Qt and Java there is not reason why a viable Linux version cannot be created. Stop passing off Linux users to the web client as second class citizens.

It would make more sense, if all the client features were available in the web version. I think, the main thing, which is missing from the website, is the ability to create and edit our own albums.
I am also a LINUX user. I prefer LINUX to work in as there are no viruses and expensive upgrades. My UBuntu has not crashed. My windows crashes too often for the prices they ask for their software.
@Charles Faraci III : Maybe, it is not the right place for a discussion about the free open source software benefits, even if it is justified
