Adding a photo to additional articles

Frequently, I add a photo from an article to other articles, often weeks or months after the photo was first added. This can be extremely time consuming (especially when adding an "old" photo to multiple articles) as I have to scroll through hundreds of photos in the photo tray in order to add the photo when I could easily locate the photo through its original article.

This task would be much easier if I could first locate the photo through the original article and then place the photo in a holding area so that I could then add it to other articles.

As an alternative if when an "old" photo is added to a new article, that photo is then moved to the top of the photo tray enabling it to be added to more articles easily (without the need to scroll through hundreds of other photos).

Hello Kevin. We developed a feature for this. This is still in beta-testing, but you can already have access to this tool from the top bar.

When browsing articles, there is a clipboard near the notification counter, clicking on it will deploy an empty clipboard where you can drag and drop photos from articles. Photos added there will be saved in your session, and you can get them from any article on Fotopedia.

Simply drag a photo to the center of your screen when you are in the desired article, and the photo will be nominated. Please check the size of the image as you won't be warned if the photo is under the minimum size requirement.

This is still a test, so if you encounter a problem, please send a message to our dev team using this form.

Thanks

Hi Damien

Thanks for pointing this out. I had spotted the feature and have successfully used it. The feature addresses my request perfectly and I think it is very useful.
