What is the map view?

When clicking on the map button, you will have access to a map with a pin point centered on the displayed photo location. You can use this map to locate the displayed photo, but also to navigate through other photos based on their location. To access other photos, tap on their pin point.

In the map view, you can :

  • open your trip (or favorites) menu and navigate across your saved items.
  • in certain apps (such as Fotopedia Paris) you can choose to display some points of guide on the map.
  • find your location with the «Localize Me» button.
  • search places and photos and add them to your trip (or favorites) by tapping the «+» button.

Why can’t I see all pin points on the map?

If the zoom on the map is too far, you won’t see all pins because the map become over crowded. To get more precision on your finding, you can zoom in the map with the pinch in gesture.

The application can’t localize me. Can you help me?

You need to activate the Location Service for the Fotopedia App in the General Settings of your device. If this doesn't solve your problem, check that other applications using location are working.
