Hello everyone,
As you know the reputation system is in Beta, and we are looking for ways to improve it. Today, one of the changes we wanted to make has been released on Fotopedia. We are thus updating the reputation rule when you remove a photo you nominate in an article of the encyclopedia. We saw people posting a lot of photos in an article, see what happens to them, and remove the ones that were getting negative votes. This way, they recovered their lost points, and it was always a win for the nominator, no matter what.
With the updated rule, we want to make sure that you select only the best images to add, and don't "gamble" on what could happen to your average shots. If you remove a photo from an article, you won't recover lost points on those photos. Also, you will loose all points this photo gave you when it was featured or voted up.
All the best,
Damien
