What is a widget?

A widget makes it easy to insert photos and slideshows from the encyclopedia on other websites and blogs.

How do I add a widget to my website?

1. Go to the page of the photo or album you want to make a widget of
2. Click 'Make a widget' in the 'Actions' menu
3. Customize the size, frame, background and effects of your widget
4. Click 'Get Html' and copy paste the code in your website

Customizing your widget

Yes! You can change the size, the background color (depending if your website has a light or dark background), chose to have a frame or not and on slideshows the effect between photos and the delay between each photo can be changed. All this is customizable on the page where you get the Html code.

Can I make a widget with any photo on Fotopedia?

Yes! As long as you don't make a commercial usage or use the widget in any manner that is libelous or slanderous or otherwise defamatory, obscene or indecent. As long as you are nice.
